  • Le pique-nique au parc de Belleville- Cookout In Belleville Park

 © Peter Pho

Saturday 14 July

  • The Tracking Game a pleasant urban treasure hunt

The highlight of the festival "Solve-Me" thus the festival name, takes place Saturday, July 14 from 10:00am to 16:00pm in the neighborhoods of Charonne, Gambetta, Ménilmontant, Belleville, Jourdain & Place des Fêtes. The objective of this initiative is to discover or rediscover the city and its attractions in a friendly and original way, with questions about the distant past of the territory, as much as its present, on the ecology and of course our partners.

A log book in hand, the players will go in teams looking for clues in the neighborhoods. They will be able to answer and solve them by visiting exhibitions, shops, associations, and other places, which have prepared and mobilized for this occasion: - it will be the opportunity to meet local actors other than those we usually see, to discover products, works, to observe, to perform experiments, but also to play and to ask many questions to solve each puzzle and continue to the next meeting point.

It is a matter of promoting the space, raising the awareness of the public about ecological issues, setting up solidarity actions and, of course, showing original artistic projects of high quality.

A summer appointment for vacationers as well as permanent.

  • Picnic at Belleville Park

Created in 1988 on the heights of Belleville Hill, little known to Parisians, Belleville Park (45,000 m²) rises to 108 meters offering a breathtaking panoramic view of the capital and has one of the longest waterfalls in Paris (100 meters long). Several times awarded for its flower beds, the park offers an oasis of relaxation for the whole family. Children are not forgotten with a wooden village with turreted stairs and slides of all sizes.

Witness to the winery past of the mound, the park also has 140 feet of vines (pinot meunier (Champagne) and Chardonnay (Burgundy)) which each produce 2 to 3 kilos of grapes each year.

It's at the heart of this exceptional setting; that we invite you to come to share with us a picnic citizen: Bastille day obliges, but especially because fun and relaxation are now combined with ecology and sustainable development.

  • AAM and Bertrand Bellon

A man with many facets, Bertrand Bellon travels the world to share his passion for painting, notably by exhibiting for thirty years across the continents, particularly in Morocco, China and Pakistan.

Bertrand Bellon is a painter from the top hill of Ménilmontant. He paints "the ordinary things of life", those that are no longer noticed for being close: plants, fruits, still lifes and, of course, people. Nothing more normal for this citizen of the world who made these creations around the teapot: symbol of human warmth and universal conviviality. Object of everyday life, allegory of socialization that we find in the four corners of the world, but to which paradoxically we pay little attention.Bertrand Bellon made the crazy bet to value it.

Philanthropist and humanist, Bertrand Bellon is a popularizer in all the nobility of the term making enjoy his art by exposing him in the streets where amateurs, onlookers or curious can contemplate and wonder. He raises street art at the level of famous artists such as Jérôme Mesnager, Némo, Mosko and associates. He also animates the Association Le Ratrait, which creates social ties in and around the rue du Retrait. "
